Military Police

The Early Years

The Military Police was founded by three men, Clayton Gevangen, Sir Thomas Stewart and Dr John Mullins in 1634 in the early years of the American frontier as a secret force to try to control the crazy settlers. They had collected around 50 cadets by the year 1637 who where put in basic training, 2 of those cadets were made officer cadets and their names were Dr Henry Afton and Doug Webster who after 2 years of basic training in 1639 both became Second Lieutenants. From 1634 to 1636 they lived in tents whilst building a fort and from 1636 to 1678 they lived in the Newley constructed fort Bells on top of hill Henry.
